The Dimensity 8300 chip is blindingly fast. Apps open instantly, gaming is smooth, and the 144Hz AMOLED screen makes everything look incredible. The 2K projector is on another level compared to the TANK 4 Pro. Wi-Fi 7 speed in our office is remarkable. Unihertz SA dispatched same day.
The eSIM support finally means I can switch to a local SIM when travelling without carrying two phones or doing a physical swap. Combined with the best battery and projector on the market, this is the perfect travel phone. Indispensable.
The 260 lumens from the 2K projector is visibly brighter than my previous TANK 4 Pro in the same room. I can now use it for outdoor presentations in shaded areas during the day. Battery at 17,600mAh lasts the whole week. This is the flagship rugged phone.
Upgraded from the TANK 4 Pro and the differences are real: faster chip, smoother display, brighter projector. The 2K resolution on projection is noticeably sharper for text. Weight is similar but the battery is substantially bigger. Worth the upgrade.
Took this on a 7-day horse trail through the Karoo. Heavy GPS use, camera daily, phone calls at camp. Still had 40% when I got back. Night sky photography with the 50MP camera was exceptional. Nothing else handles remote expeditions like this.
We bought three of these for our site foremen. All three are still going strong after 3 months of abuse. Drops, dust, rain, extreme heat — no issues. The battery means our team never worries about charging in the field. The local support from Unihertz SA sorted a minor issue within 2 days.
First phone I have had with Wi-Fi 7 and the speed difference is real on a compatible router. Everything else about the phone is flagship level. The 2K projector outdoors is limited to dark conditions like all projectors, but indoors it is excellent. Very happy with this purchase.
The phone is large and takes some getting used to. But the display is beautiful, the projector is genuinely useful, and the battery is outstanding. After a few weeks it feels normal. Would not go back to a regular phone now.
