Refund and Return Policy

  • Returns:

    We accept returns within 7 days of delivery. Items must be in original packaging in an unused and new condition with all accessories. including all parts, accessories, and manuals that were included with the product. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

    We have partnered with Courier Guy for sending and receiving parcels. You can return any faulty items free of charge from your nearest Courier Guy kiosk. Please obtain a reference number from our support team to provide when visiting the Courier Guy location.

  • Refunds:

    Refunds are processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.

    Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7-14 business days.

  • Damages and Exchanges:

    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 24 hours of delivery if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

    Exchanges are allowed for defective products within 7 days. After inspection, a replacement will be dispatched.

  • Cancellation:

    You can cancel your order by submitting a cancellation request via email. To cancel your order please send an email. Only orders that haven't shipped can be cancelled. Once the order ships, then cancellation is not possible.

    Please note that if the order has already been shipped and a cancellation is requested, then we will charge a handling fee of up to 15% restocking fee and the buyer must send the item(s) back to the dispatch warehouse.

  • Non-Returnable Items:

    Certain items like accessories and opened software are non-returnable unless faulty.

  • Warranty:

    Products carry a manufacturer’s warranty of 12 months. Warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.

    If you encounter a defect with the item where it does not function as it is designed to, then kindly contact us and we'll assist you to process a warranty claim in line with the terms set out by the manufacturer.

  • Process:

    To initiate a return or warranty claim, contact our support team at support@unihertz.co.za / 012 004 3652 with your order details.

    You may be requested to provide photos and/or videos to verify the issue or condition of the item. This is necessary to further process the claim or refund, therefore we may not be able to proceed if this is not available or clearly visible. In exceptional cases, we may be able to issue a refund with no need to return the item. - If the item needs to be returned, then Unihertz SA will arrange the return shipment. Once confirmed, you can coordinate directly with the courier to schedule a convenient date and time for collection. Your return item should be handed over to the courier without unreasonable delay in order to be returned within 7 days.
