• Introduction

  — These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Unihertz South Africa's website and services. By accessing or purchasing from our site, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.

• Orders and Acceptance

  — All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders at our discretion. Once an order is placed, you will receive an email acknowledgment confirming receipt — this does not constitute acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when payment is processed and the products are dispatched.

• Pre-Orders

  — Unihertz South Africa periodically offers products for pre-order prior to manufacture and shipment. By placing a pre-order, you accept the following conditions:

  Grace Period: All pre-orders carry a grace period of 7 to 15 days before production begins. You may cancel your pre-order at any time within this window and receive a full refund.

  During the Grace Period (7–15 days): Should you request a refund after placing a pre-order but within the grace period, the following will be deducted from your refund: a 15% handling fee on the total order value; any applicable currency conversion costs at the prevailing exchange rate; and any admissions or import fees already incurred.

  After Production is Confirmed: Once production has commenced and stock allocation has been confirmed by the manufacturer, refunds are no longer applicable. We will notify all pre-order customers by email before this point is reached.

  Once Delivered: After you have received your order, our standard Returns and Refund Policy applies as set out below.

• Pricing and Payment

  — Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you and you may choose to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, EFT, and lay-bye. All payments must be received and cleared before dispatch.

• Delivery and Shipping

  — Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are presented at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. We are not liable for delays caused by customs clearance or logistical issues beyond our control.

• Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

  — Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, with all packaging and accessories included. Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after inspection and approval, and issued to the original payment method. Exchanges are available for defective products within 7 days of delivery. Where an exact replacement is unavailable, we will offer an alternative or a full refund.

• Warranty

  — All products carry a 12-month manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise stated. Warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, unauthorised repairs, or modifications.

• Limitation of Liability

  — To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unihertz South Africa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including loss of profits, data, or business — arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service in question.

• Intellectual Property

  — All website content, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Unihertz South Africa or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, or exploitation of any content without our written permission is prohibited.

  — We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data.

• Changes to Terms

  — We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

• Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  — These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
