I was sceptical about the rear display but I use it every day. Glance at the time without unlocking, check notifications while the phone is face down, and use the rear camera as a mirror for selfies. The hexagonal shape gets comments everywhere I go. Battery is great and the IP68 rating has been tested in Cape Town rain. A real conversation starter.
The dual screen concept works better than I expected. Clock face on the back means I never need to lift my phone to check the time on a busy day. 6000mAh battery comfortably lasts 2 days. The IP68 rating is real — I dropped it in the dog's water bowl and it survived. Minus one star because the rear screen apps are limited, but it's a fun and capable phone.
I do fieldwork in Limpopo and this phone lasts 3 full days between charges with moderate use. The rear display lets me monitor time and notifications without taking my gloves off. The rugged build has survived dust, heat, and multiple drops on rocky ground. The 48MP camera captures excellent site photos. Very happy with this purchase.
Bought this for the novelty but ended up loving the practicality. The rear clock is surprisingly useful during meetings when you can't check your phone openly. Battery life is excellent, build is solid, and it handled a drop at gym without any damage. The camera is decent for a rugged phone.
The core phone is excellent — battery, ruggedness, and camera are all solid. The rear display is the gimmick that drew me in but its functionality is currently limited. Works for time, compass, and music controls, but I hoped for more. Still a good rugged phone overall and I get compliments on the design daily.
Bought this for a camping trip in the Magaliesberg. The 6000mAh battery lasted the whole 3-day trip with GPS, photos, and music. IP68 handled the river crossing perfectly. The rear screen shows a compass face which was practical for navigation. An excellent outdoor companion.
After years of boring black rectangular phones, the TickTock is genuinely different. Hexagonal shape, rear touchscreen, programmable buttons — it feels designed by someone with imagination. Battery is superb and the rugged build gives confidence. The rear camera used as selfie through the secondary screen is brilliant.
