I bought this as a travel phone and it is perfect. Fits in a coin pocket, weighs almost nothing, the transparent back with LED lights is genuinely beautiful, and it runs full Android 13 with all the apps I need. 48MP camera produces surprisingly good photos for the size. Battery lasts my full day. A gem of a tiny phone.
Bought two of these — one for my teenage daughter and one as my backup phone. The colour-changing LED back is a genuine novelty that both of us use constantly. At 3 inches it disappears into any pocket. Helio G99 is fast enough for all daily apps and the 48MP camera outperforms phones twice its price. Excellent value.
I travel for work every week and the Jelly Star is my secondary phone for travel. I expected a compromised phone in a tiny body. The Jelly Star delivers genuinely good performance with the Helio G99 chip. The 48MP camera takes photos that compete with much larger phones in good light. My only issue is the 3-inch screen makes video streaming a bit small for extended use. As a daily driver for calls and messaging it is perfect.
My 74-year-old grandmother needed a very small, simple phone for calls and WhatsApp. The Jelly Star is perfect — small enough to fit comfortably in her hand, simple to use, and the LED back lights up when there is a call so she never misses it. I run with this clipped to my shirt. At the size and weight of a credit card it is barely noticeable. Spotify, Strava, and Bluetooth headphones work perfectly. The transparent back gets compliments at the gym constantly. For anyone who wants a tiny fitness companion that runs full Android, this is the only option.
The transparent back and LED lights are genuinely beautiful. The phone performs well for its size. My only reservation is that 3 inches is genuinely small for daily smartphone use — reading emails and browsing is a bit challenging. As a second phone, travel phone, or for someone who primarily calls and messages, it is excellent.
